Any idea how many applicants Princeton will admit SCEA? Since its the first time no stats available but has anyone heard anything?

My guess is somewhere in the 600–800 range, which would yield an acceptance rate of 16–20%, but this is just based on looking at other colleges with SCEA.

Did anybody else read the article in the New York Times about a week ago…? It said something like 3,500+ kids applied to Princeton SCEA. Just saying, that’s 3x the size of the undergraduate class.

I’m confused APRookie…I saw on another thread that you applied EA to both Boston College and Villanova? If you truly applied REA to Princeton that is against the rules.

With a 8.39% acceptance rate, 4 (if you round up) of the posters would get it… So depressing.

No! Be positive! Besides I bet the REA acceptance rate be higher then 8.9% since Yale’s is usually around 14.5%

Also, I think the CollegeConfidential cohort is generally above-average for the applicant pool, since we’re generally better informed (about iikelihood) and how to create a good application. I’m hoping maybe about 8 of us get in.
