*** did anybody get a very long extension to their application? I got this:

Hello,

As you know, we have granted you an extension of the deadline to submit your National College Match application. However, all access to the application has currently been suspended. You will have access to the application again starting on Monday, October 6, at 12 noon PDT. The new deadline for your application will be Sunday, October 12 at 11:59 p.m. PDT.

This extension also applies to all of the documents that your teachers and other school officials are submitting to us in relation to your application: teacher and counselor recommendations, secondary school reports, transcripts, and standardized test scores.

Please use the following link to access a blank copy of the National College Match application. You can use this document to continue your work on the application until your access opens on Monday.

And I think its slightly unfair about all of these extensions :( Oh well, it's not like I could have done anything productive with all of those extra days anyways :D

Does anybody know if you can opt out of the match program if you're accepted as a finalist, but before November 3rd?
I heard yes, especially on page 5 of this thread, but the person wasn't sure.
Anyone know for real?

words from the Claremont McKenna admissions director (and vp of the school!) : for RD, forward your QB app w a supplement, but send an email to the admissions office notifying them that you're using QB. You don't need a common app.

My guess is that other schools will do this too?

Well QB just answered my e-mail from Wednesday about the transcript and told me to request an extension. Hopefully this won't hurt my chances for being a finalist!

ive taken the act and will continue taking it (got a 28 :<) so my sat test dates are open for the bio and math2 sat2s.

exactly what happens now? i send those scores when i get them back to the colleges i ranked? i am not a citizen (in the app i put still in the process) so technically i cant really get matched to any of the schools i ranked. does this make ranking at all a waste of time or should i just choose the 'forward to regular decision' choice?

do i need to send those scores b/c im pretty sure there gonna be crap for tomorrow b/c im not AT ALL prepared. but the way im looking at it is that ive got 2 more tries to get like high 700s b/c im not taking the sat.

I just wish that some all knowing angel would answer these questions that are being posted, including mine ^^!

generally, how many people apply to questbridge? And to second the questions before me, do I have to send those new scores to questbridge? if so, how?
