<p>They release decisions in early may, according to one of the blog entries from last year. They’ll likely repeat that schedule. Admissions to MIT is just one huge blackhole. You throw your application in, but don’t know what to expect. Good luck.</p>
<p>yes… They never give you any specific reply… and I need the decision before May 14th because I need to plan my summer vacation accordingly… But I dont really think I can get in… I dont get any national prize … just GPAs and SAT2…</p>

<p>yes… AO said they will give out the decision early in May… I am going to have 5 finals this week… OMG… I will be so depressed if I am rejected… But… I am a kind of hopeless… I don’t know… the chance that I can get into MIT is the same as I get the lottery of 10 Million…Good luck everyone!! <p>yeah, the decisions could be released this week. that’s intense. No matter what the outcome is I’ll know that I gave it my best. From past threads, it seems that decisions come out between 7 and 11, so it could be late this week or early next week.</p>
<p>wow… that’s great… because I finish my final at 7… and because I am going to take summer courses… so the last day for add/drop is 14… so I can still change my courses if I get in MIT… …</p>
<p>If they are releasing decisions on the first Wednesday of May (like last year, May 6), we do have a possibility of hearing from them tomorrow!</p>

<p>That is a link from the tech that talks about how MIT wants to increase its enrollment. If you scroll down to the section that talks about transfer students, you’ll see that they said they’ll like to increase the number of transfer students if more qualified students apply. I hope they start this policy this year. </p>
