Ok, so everyone that took the last AP French language exam, what did you think? I thought it was ok. The listening, which I went in feeling was the hardest part, turned out the be the easiest thing on the test. The Barron's book doesn't print the dialogue questions, so it was a nice surprise to see them on the test. But, the reading, for me, was Very Hard. The first two passages were ok, the middle one was relatively difficult, but the second to last one made no sense. I have a native french speaker in my class and he said that that passage made absolutely no sense. So I found the reading to be the hardest part of the test. The function words were very easy and the verbs weren't too bad either. I didn't feel great about my essay, I structured it very well and used decent advanced grammar, but I didn't use much vocab or like any idiomatic expressions. So I am expecting about a 6 or 7 ish. And lastly, for the speaking, it was ok. My teacher did practice speakings with us, but not in that exact format, so I never realized how little I could prepare in 90 seconds. My responses were varied.

In my opinion-

Listening- Pretty easy
Reading- Very hard
Grammar- Pretty good
Essay- Decent
Speaking- Decent

I predict a 4, possibly a 3, and very doubtedly a 5, but I'll just have to wait and see
