Official 2011 AP US Government Thread

Ugh… I’m so nervous for this test. It’s the only test that really “matters” to me this year. I really want a five. I’ve taken 4 real practice tests given to me by my teacher. I’ve scored 55, 50, 59, and 60 out of 60 on the MC but I’m really nervous for the FRQs! Usually, they are pretty easy, but I’m afraid there’s just going to be one where I know NOTHING!

We’ll all be fine. Good luck all!

Were the free-response questions the harder section or the multiple choice?

Relatively…

MCQ, for me.

What did you guys think? I thought that test was really easy… none of the FRQ’s were that random or surprising.

I think I did well on MC. FRQs were somewhat bs-ish for me.

FRQ was pretty intense for me…

Which part was tough? They all seemed pretty straightforward. I like forgot stuff about superdelegates though… that was the only one that threw me in for a curveball.

i think my pen was too light/thin-tipped >.<
do you think that’ll affect my FRQs?

The test was a lot easier than I expected it to be. However, I also had to BS some of the FRQs.

It wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be.

Are we allowed to discuss questions?

I thought that the test was extremely easy aside from one part of one of the FRQ’s where I had no idea what the answer was. :p

The test was pretty easy overall. I felt like both sections were easy, although one part of thr frq i had to bs. other than that it wasn’t to bad. Hoping for that 5

I thought some of the FRQ’s were easy, and some were not, but almost all the MC were pretty easy.

You can estimate what your score will be by using this:

<a href=“Supporting Students from Day One to Exam Day – AP Central | College Board”>Supporting Students from Day One to Exam Day – AP Central | College Board;

It’s not that hard to make a 4 or a 5.

FRQs felt easy while multiple choices was a bit challenging due to some of the questions or answers being a bit too ambiguous. Hopefully everyone here gets the score they want.

Test was alright, it was fair on the verge of easy.

MCs weren’t bad, a couple of them were pretty weird but I think I rationaled it well. I know I missed one of them for sure, probably because I didn’t expect us to ask such a question, but overall it was pretty easy. I don’t remember a lot of questions in media and voter turnout (am I allowed to say that?), which was sort of disappointing.
FRQ was fine as well, I BSed some of it but I think I BSed it well enough so that they’ll give me the points.
I was really disappointed they didn’t ask about a lot of specific court cases (I only remember 1 case for sure they asked on the MC, maybe 2 I don’t remember). Overall I think it was a good test, but I wish they asked different things. Hopefully a 5.

This test was so easy!!!
I think I missed at most 4-5 of the multiple choice questions and then I may have bs’ed a couple of the FRQ’s but for the most part, if I don’t get a 5, I’d be extremely surprised.

MC:
Easy 55+

FRQ:
1+2 - Easy as pie
3 - Easy except one part
4 - had writers block so I had to semi-BS, however the BS was correct information, just bad composition (if that makes any sense)

Am I allowed to say that?

When do they release the rubric for the FRQs, 48hrs?

Easy as hell. I definitely got 50+ on the MC and the FRQs were extremely easy.
