[li] General Comments:[/li]I really think there is no rhyme or reason to admissions this year. There are just too many applicants. I'm thrilled to be accepted but feel bad there are students with better stats that were not. It's just a crap shoot.

Accepted:
No school ranking
Did not send SAT
GPA: 3.8 UW, no idea what it is weighted, but they are weighted at my school
From West Coast, sent in samples--a psychology project and a history essay, will graduate with excess graduating credits: 1 credit = 1 year, 22 credits req., will grad. with about 32-35
Recs. -- Excellent except for counselor rec. - she doesn't know me and she's very new, which irritated me ;/
Essays - wonderful as far as I'm concerned
Attending? If their financial aid package is bigger than at Bucknell's... but I don't think I will get any $$$.

still no letter of any size in NJ

lje62: that's really bizarre... i live in PA and received my letter yesterday... is your post usually slow?

There have been acceptances from Mass all the way to Seattle posted on here on CC. I haven't seen any rejections (one waitlist). Do you think they send the rejections out after the acceptances? :-(

Big envelope with purple folder inside, arrived today in Chicago to us and anther family we knew had applied (Accepted)

Sometimes our post office is out of whack..like yesterday, one magazine and no mail...today loads of catalogues, bills but no mail ( such as a letter of some sorts from HC ...
We sort of expect a rejection letter, but it would be nice to hear something.
All the other mail from Mass comes in two days.

I'm in NY and no letter here either. I am beginning to think I didn't fill out the application right or something...

i live in cali and got the letter yesterday.....and im in...

I think most kids don't post their rejections after they receive them. After ours we didn't visit that college message board again!!

Waitlisted...I really thought I'd get in

Same . . . waitlisted thought I would get in suggestions?
