no
you didn’t take the test here so it’s self-explanatory that the question were different.

at least 7 i think, going by the guidelines that my PR book (if you mentioned some sort of similarity as well)

extra points possible for if we determine the causes for change, according to the book

okay but some other people were also saying the dbq was about smuggling activities so I was confused

P.S. how I wish they asked me about Mediterranean and Middle East, I’m an expert on these regions haha

I feel like the curve is going to be a bit higher this year cause a lot of people felt the exam wasn’t that hard, so probably 85 at least for 5 and something like 70 for a 4 assuming the ranges are relatively the same

@cloverleaf96
I am just hoping to score a five from that essay
freakin rome

@wannabeHYPer

I don’t know too much about the world history test but if you wrote a cohesive essay and I had to guess you’d probably get a three or four. I mean, you touched on some Mediterranean topics but missed the Roman/Byzantine sphere completely.

85? that’s extremely high…

if I get 60 of 70 MCQ correct what minimum score do I need on the essays to get a 5?

@anon 13
you think so… that blows especially if the curve is higher this year.

Don’t take what I said too seriously, I’m probably just as clueless as you.

[AP World History Score Calculator | AP Haven](http://aphaven.com/haven/ap-world-history/calculator)

this has been pretty accurate for other tests in the past apparently
85% is really high… i dont think it’ll be that harsh

@ wannabe the cut off previously was 77/120 and it’ll probably be more than80 so it’s just a guess and 60 mc would be a 51.43 and if you got at least all 5s, that would be 51.43+33.333 = 84.7677 so pretty much on the borderline but I’m assuming you got more than a 5 on each essay so that’d be a 5 :p

@everyone, I meant 85/120 not 85%

LOL good… yeah i think i just misread. but my teacher says that only ~6% of testtakers get 5s on WH exam so i’m worried :s

I’ve heard that too, but I just need at least a 4 cause most good colleges around my area allow 4’s and I’m pretty sure I’m on the borderline between a 4-5

how many points would i have gotten for frq #3 (compare contrast economic developments) my similarity was the building of infrastructure and difference was abolition of serfdom in russia whereas samurai class stayed same in japan in theory-- i realized abolition of serfdom is a little before the period and i didn’t talk about communism at all i’m freaking out

@cloverleaf96 according to that link I’ve pretty much guaranteed a 4 and chances for 5 are also pretty good. wow, now I feel relieved, not bad for one-week cramming huh?

my optimistic predictions are: 60/70, 8/9, 6/9, 4/9
pessimistic: 50/70, 6/9, 4/9, 2/9

I think you’re going to need around 77/120 because even though on here people say they did good, other websites people are saying they guessed like 30 multiple choice…
I liked the DBQ since I JUST took a test on it yesterday and the third essay I talked about china and Japan. The second essay kinda stumped me I wrote about the different empires at the time. This one guys handed the test in one hour after the essay started and said he ditched part two and three 0.0

what were the questions on the tests given in the US I’m really curious (wish I could also discuss them with you guys :/)

The question asking the difference between the Polynesians and the Vikings, was the answer that the Polynesians didn’t establish major trade routes? Or that they benefited from Chinese technology?
