<p>@Kanshi I hate to burst your bubble, but the cutoff is historically in the mid 20s. The lowest cutoff I have ever heard of was a 23 I believe, so there’s unfortunately very little chance that you (and I) qualified.</p>

<p>My didn’t change from participant to semifinalist. I kept refreshing and got a 22 and it said semifinalist! And who knows if they messed up the participant/semifinalist they might’ve messed up the score too.</p>
<p>Wait this is so strange, people with quite low scores (mid teens) also were designated as semifinalists…</p>

<p>Last year cutoff was 24, I’m guessing around that range.</p>
<p>I feel so bad for the people at CEE :D. They’re staffed entirely by volunteers and are going to be swarmed by so much nerd rage tomorrow morning when they open their email/voicemail.</p>

<p>I mean anything is quite possible. So far the only people who really said that there status changed from participant to semifinalist are people under 20’s. And I’ve been refreshing that page for like an hour and a half LOL so I think I got in but maybe I didn’t Really hope that wasn’t my score because I felt like i did better than that -.-</p>
