I hope CEE does not include the scores of the students who took the test after Feb 14th to decide the cutoff.

Personally, I don’t think they’re gonna change anything lol. It’d be too much restructuring and they prob are too lazy to do anything about it.

yes, in all seriousness it does @greenbat23 It is very annoying when someone as condescending as you starts claiming to be twice as smart as semifinalists and acting better than everyone else. just post your prediction, and I honestly wouldn’t care if that’s all you did. But you have to manage to insult everyone else while you’re at it. I’ll decline the checks

guys stop fighting

@botherme Are you just saying that now because I called you out on favoring greenbat? Another apology would be appreciated.

@botherme, we can finish this fight at IBO, if you are lucky enough to join me. But for now let’s keep predicting semifinal cutoffs.

yeah chrism you’re right. Why am i fighting lol. This is pointless

@botherme, if you are that confident that there is no point fighting now because you will make ibo, then so be it

Guys, chill out. Keep this USABO related and keep social drama out of it.
We’re here to support each other and offer help to those who need it.

I support everyone! Please ask me for any biology help and I will be happy to help!

“It is clearly written in our policies under Article N Section D that students are not supposed to discuss questions, so we have decided to cancel the scores of everyone who we will identify to have discussed them on the forum. It is a matter of honor and we will not remove any questions that you discussed from the test partly because some people might have actually got those questions right without looking at the forum. Thus, deleting the questions will make some people who actually would’ve got in not get in. I am sorry I wasn’t able to help you today.” <<< Ok, in regard to this post earlier, how do they tell what our actual names are on this forum if they wanted to find who we are. CC has a privacy policy that prohibits it from giving anyone our emails…

The cutoff is determined before people actually take the test…

CEE should have posted on their site about the extension for some schools. They can not cancel anyone’s score because students have discussed the questions after the official test dates.

@scyther - How can CEE decide on the cutoff beforehand if they take the top 10% as the semifinalists?

Airbus where did you get that quote?

@Lucky139 Well apparently Bobby12344 got an email from CEE with that quote. See page 21.

holy crap you had me worried there lol.

What is life without bio? c:

If you have ten quarters, how rich are you? No no no no no. You can’t just SAY that!!! Haha. Okay. Maybe sometime later, but you’re a downright fool?

USABO is love; USABO is life?

If i were an enzyme, I’d be helicase so i could unzip your genes ;).
Is this Wobble? … Cause U and I go together ;)

Get it mmmm

Look, people visiting this thread before taking the open exam are probably already unprepared, so they come here looking to nab some free points. I highly doubt that their scores would sway the curve at all. How many people do you think actually studied this thread before taking the exam? 10, 50? Do you really think that their scores would influence the cutoff? Statistics, guys.

Next year, they should make it super hard so the cutoff is like a 20… lmao
