honestly dude don’t worry. 5% chance of the cutoff being 33

Wow guys… So I post that I got a 43, which is in my opinion a clear representation of my work, and you guys don’t even question the legitimacy of greenbat23’s claim of a 50, which is a perfect score. I am disgusted by how the community is accusing me of “trolling,” while noone bats an eye at greenbat…

I would like a formal apology from @CheeseBro and @botherme. That is all… I hope we can continue to preserve the harmonious nature of this thread without another hint of racism.

uhhhh??? dude, no one even asked what race you were. Why did you decide to bring it up??

I was talking about greenbat…

Hey guys, it looks like CEE has updated their website about the weather issue. Would we be able to lobby CEE to drop the questions that we discussed?

sciencechamp, i want a “formal apology” from you for accusing me of somehow being racist against you when I haven’t even said anything about you -_-

@besthope it’s worth a try, but I doubt they’ll go for it.

@botherme Okay I’m sorry, but I still have no idea why you and Cheese would treat greenbat more favorably, when clearly his claims are more suspicious. Now it’s your turn to apologize.

@sciencechamp24 um I still don’t know what you’re talking about. I was annoyed at greenbat by his arrogant attitude, but I never commented on you

@besthope I dont think that they would do anything to the questions that were discussed here. If anything they would yell at the people who discussed them in the first place. After all, there is probably a portion in their rules about not discussing test questions until the entire thing is over. And, frankly, they are not going to redo a test that probably took them months to make, and the IBO will be held at the same time, so they won’t risk remaking the test because a bunch of “kids” were stupid enough to start talking about the test before everyone took it.

I feel that CEE should have posted on their site that they will be extending the deadline. So, for the students sake they should proactively drop the questions that we had discussed on this forum. I think we should let CEE know about this mistake. I don’t think it is the students mistake alone.

AMC never gives an extension even if there is a weather issue. They always stick with their original dates.

well, you can email them for your satisfaction, but they will probably respond to you in this fashion:

“It is clearly written in our policies under Article N Section D that students are not supposed to discuss questions, so we have decided to cancel the scores of everyone who we will identify to have discussed them on the forum. It is a matter of honor and we will not remove any questions that you discussed from the test partly because some people might have actually got those questions right without looking at the forum. Thus, deleting the questions will make some people who actually would’ve got in not get in. I am sorry I wasn’t able to help you today.”

OMG SemiFinal scores are upppp!!!

lol but honestly i’m praying to the Lord Almighty the cutoff is like 25 - 28

Well, what if you were in the situation that these people were in? It is not like they were not present to take the exam. The test center that they were supposed to take the exam in was closed. I know its not ideal, but things happen. And, if this was like the AMC and you were not taking the exam through no fault of your own and you were the best biologist in the universe, then you miss out on going to the IBO. Just think about it that way and you understand why they did it

The cutoff for 2011 was 29 and looking at that test, it was probably somewhat harder than this test? Also, especially with all the recent drama, I wouldn’t be surprised if it raised to like 32 or 33

chrism T.T don’t mess with me like that

@botherme, does it bother botherme (you) that i posted that? if you would like i can relieve your mental stress with checks to your bank account?
