More time would have done me good, but I feel all right about Math.

I need a 34 or higher so badly… I hope I got lucky and did better than I think I did on the reading and science… Those are the hardest for me all the time. I think I did better than the first time I took it though…

Ahhh I honestly have no idea how I did! I felt really strong on the essay (18D i think?) the one about audio recordings, like I definitely killed that!! But I’m really unsure about the first part of the reading section, and the last part of the math section.
Does anyone know how many can you get wrong to still score a 30+?

How about that question about the new magazine. It said something along the lines of

She got a new editor. (EDITOR’s name) blah blah blah

is that right?

Yeah that’s what I put ^

I think you can afford missing like 15 (not sure how to disperse them) and still get a 30.

You could actually get away with missing 20 or more (or less lol) depending on how they are distributed. Like missing 10 each in eng and math would turn out a lot better than missing 10 each in sci and reading.

Guys, I’m sure everyone did well, if not, why would you be in this thread? Just keep up the faith and trust God. I read through almost everyones answer lol Each of you did well.

Curve predictions for English, Math, Reading and Science?

When do we get our scores? They said 5-8 weeks but everyone in my test room said they usually come out a lot sooner than that…?

p.s. I absolutely hated the violin reading passage. The questions for that were so obscure. Like the joking or “gauging her interest” one. Ugh

Anyone have trouble finishing the reading and science sections? I thought the last 10 on math were a bit tricky as well.

i agree last 10 on math seemed more like SAT II math II questions than ACT math questions.

I agree the last 10 on math were extremely tough

yeah the math was definitely more difficult than what i expected, and im in ap calc! what did you put for that question about “joking or gauging her interest” ?

Was it the the passage about the violin? If so do you remember part of the question?

I put that he was gauging her interest because the passage presented him as a serious instructor. Anyway, what did you guys get for the triangle question? It was the one that asked for t64. I put 2080.

2080 verified.

Find the average length of a row and then multiply by 64 (the number of rows). The top row had 1, the bottom 64:

64*((64+1)/2)=2080.

How did you verify it? And that’s great, I feel a lot better. There were three questions I didn’t understand and that was one of them.

Explanation edited above for you.

Thank you! Did you figure that out during the test? Or did you just know the whole Fibonacci concept?
