OFFICIAL ACT Scores Thread - April 2009

^First post too… :P

LOL at the reading comment. Congrats mingh…nicely done.

It seems like everyones getting 33-36 on the test…and its hard to believe that
those scores are in the 99%rank… these scores seem pretty ubiquitous in this forum…

R all these ppl going to ivy leagues?

^
I’m assuming it’s a mixture of lies and the fact that only people that care A LOT/are quite intelligent frequent these types of forums. Thus, the score are going to be quite inflated compared to say, a nationwide average.

I feel left out cause I got a 31 =S.

Omg, I know! All these posts are making me feel like my 32 is worthless… almost everyone gets a 32 here. I know it’s supposedly the 99th percentile, but appears to be like the 40th percentile!

Hey I’m new to the site, just thought I’d introduce myself.

Although the main point I am posting is because I am still “registered” according to the ACT web page. Is anyone else in the same boat? And for those individuals who did receive their scores–why are you so special? :)

I wouldn’t worry too much optimize, if you haven’t received your scores withing 6 weeks then I’d call ACT or e-mail them, today was the first possible day for scores to be in. Maybe your test center mailed in the tests late or something came up, the status changes to tested generally the day before or 2 days before the scores will be entered. Scores are usually entered on Wednesdays and Fridays I believe so keep checking! (did you by any chance test as standby that would be a definite reason for a delay)

Kallistos–sure didn’t test as a standby, not that I am aware of anyway. Has anyone tried speaking with an ACT representative about delayed scores? I know today is the ABSOLUTE earliest that I could get them but I am just so anxious!

I feel ya bud I was up until midnight to get my scores, you’re not alone though. Check out the thread “Official April ACT score waitlist” all those people are also still listed as registered and a few of the people called ACT and spoke with them - I’d check it out. Hang in there I’m sure you did great!

32 Baby!!!

I got my scores and then headed to the tea party!!!

RON PAUL!!!

there are a few threads addressing this (anyone still registered? and one thats called april ACT waitlisted or something of the sort)…im in the same boat =/
hopefully we get our scores soon

36!!! (finally)

I’m a senior now so it serves absolutely no purpose, but dammit I just wanted to prove I could get it :)

^ Wow, can I have your score? Why did you spend over forty dollars and a Saturday morning to prove to yourself you get a perfect score on a test that doesn’t even matter anymore.

Well pretty much everyone on CC is an over-achiever…or really smart and looking to go to an Ivy…so that’s why it seems like the majority does better than a 32.

When really that couldn’t be farther than the truth. You ARE in the 99th percentile!!! :)

YAY 34!
english-30 (I hate english)

I am so mad. I got a perfect on every section except the critical reading, during which I completely zoned out and got a 32, so I ended up with a composite 35 (I want that 36). Do you guys think it is worth retaking?
