Other Factors: ?

I'm not going to go. This was my safety. I feel bad though. A friend of mine got rejected from his two top schools, and is now GW bound. He applied for the Honors prog and did not make it. There is a waiting list for that thing, though, right? I'd feel bad just taking someone's spot.

Anyway, I'm probably going to Brown. I'm on the Harvard waitlist, but idk how that's gonna go. Plus, I think I'll be happier at Brown anyway.

Decision: Accepted to CAS with Half Presidential Scholarship. I was also invited to the Elizabeth Sommer's women program for pre-med and sciences, but I'm not going to do that. I didn't even apply for that. I actually applied for the Honors Program, but my acceptance letter had no word of that. I think they messed up with my request, so I'm planning on calling them.

SAT: 1410

SAT IIs: 760 Writing, 700 Lit (after a terrible 580 mess up), 630 Math 1C

Counselor Rec: No idea, I have not read them

Hook (if any): Although I feel that my resume was impressive, it probably fades in with all the other overachieving applicants, so I lack a real "hook". However, I do believe my essay stood out, as another school let me know on my acceptance letter.

It looks like I will be going to GW next year, unless I can somehow manage to get off of NYU's waiting list. Even if I do, the money GW is offering is pretty sweet...

Teacher Recs: probably good.

I'm pretty set on attending Carnegie Mellon, but GW is tempting because of the scholarship and the fact that its a really nice campus, amazing location and just seems to be a more fun school. I don't knoww
