Since there seems to be some confusion when acceptances vs. waitlists vs. rejections were mailed, and whether it is still posssible to get an acceptance, please note the postmark data on your submissions to this page. THANX!

WorriedDad,
Have you still not heard? I've been watching this thread with hopes of seeing good news posted from you. How's your D holding up with all this waiting?
-Still keeping my fingers crossed for her!

She is stoic. Nothing from GWU yet. On another CC string it is reported someone got an acceptance yesterday(Tuesday) postmarked 1/30/05. Maybe our Homeland Security is protecting us from evil-doers at GWU?

After I posted my stats, you asked for the postmark date. I didn't get anything in the mail yet (possibly because my address has changed, but it should only take a day or two more to get here since everything is forwarded, and it still isn't here). I called yesterday because I am leaving today for DC to visit schools, and I needed to know whether to make time in my schedule to visit GW. They were very reluctant to tell me over the phone, but I think the combination of those two things (address change and visiting) got them to tell me. You can try calling if you want, but they said it is "against office policy" to release decisions over the phone unless there has been a "significant delay." At first she told me to give it till at least Thursday and then call back, but I told her I'd be in DC visiting another school (that gave me a significant scholarship) on Thursday, and she put me on hold to check with one of the deans (who she eventually put me through to, and he told me my decision). Good luck!

Okay no one on here ever admits to being rejected or waitlisted. Hopefully I can start a trend.
