*** Official AP Biology Thread 2012-2013 ***

please don’t tell me that i’m the only one who immaturely LOL’d at the cliffnotes’ repeated use of ‘FAP’ on the animal behavior chapter

Has anyone taken the practice test from Pearson’s Campbell Biology book? It seemed pretty easy so now I’m gunna take the official practice test and see how well I do.

@Mr_college23 what practice test is that from the book/where is it found?

Can someone explain #2 on the grid in questions? I’m not sure how they got 73 as their expected.

Just kidding, I did my punnett square wrong :(

@ilovescience2 It’s from the complementary ap review book that goes along with this textbook
[pearsonschool.com: Campbell Biology AP® Edition, 9th Edition](<a href=“Page Not Found |”>Page Not Found |)

Can anyone explain #61 on the practice exam?

Dejirei

YES

Crystal: Nitrate does not affect the environment. Phosphate was the limiting factor that catalyzed the growth of population

Can anyone explain 49,56, 57?

yes 49 is A because when the things are taken out and touched together the pathway happens. B is wrong because microvilli. C is wrong because why would it pass a electric signal and d is wrong because they dont pass genetic material ***?

56 is B because they solution lack nitrogen so the proteins which all use nitrogen are gunna go down.

57 is B because the antibody blocks the acteylcholine and therefor no stimulation happens (or it is at least decreased)

well everybody, ap biology exam is in less than 9 and a half hours. May the AP biology gods lead us all on the path to 5s! Good luck to everyone!

I took the test like 30 min. ago in Korea. Did anybody feel like the test was more like a logics test than a Bio exam? (form O)

Anyone explain #44? why is it not A?

hey, teeskim, what were the hardest questions?

What the **** is being discussed on this thread??? LOL… but seriously, the last few pages have been about chemistry, NOT biology. We should be concerned with HW, genetics, molecular and cellular biology, and a bit of ecology. NOT gases! And we need to be able to use this knowledge to answer the MC which WILL be tricky. For the essays, STATE THE ****ing obvious and connect it to evolution! Geez, it’s not that difficult people! XD

teekskim: ANSWERS

Okay just to confirm: you guys are labeling your free response questions right? Like:

1a) answer answer answer

1b) answer answer answer

etc.

@montague18:
Definitely

I’m also wondering about that because they specifically ask for outlines and write that outline form is unacceptable.
