The non calculator FRQ and MC questions were a lot easier than those of the calculator. I forgot completely about the total distance traveled and speed parametric formulas. After I was done working on the non calculator FRQ, i went back and somehow remembered them, haha.
I do agree with some of you that I knew how to do the questions, but I most likely made mistakes in adding or subtracting all those large numbers. There were many questions on which I had to guess because I couldnât do proper arithmetic in a timely manner. Sucks.
I felt that it was over all relatively easily, but, who knows, that could be a sign I bombed it. If I were an optimistic person, Iâd guess I got a 4 or a 5. I probably got a 2 or a 3 though, according to all those practice tests in class.
@Oblivion96 Yeah, you just had to use FOIL up to the point indicated in the problem.
Lol is anyone at AP Pass? The curve makes me feel optimistic but if I get like a 2 or 3 then I feel bad because I really must have bombed most of the test

@JuicyMango Is that FRQ 5 youâre referring to?
@Frigidcold Did you just discard the terms that were of a higher degree than what they wanted?
@synack Pretty much
You guys are being too hard on yourselfs. 50% of people get 5s on the BC exam.
For Form O
Would I get no points for FRQ #6 if I forgot to take out the negative cause I put -1/3 -_-
and for FRQ #6 C
Did you guys disregard the other terms and just used the terms necessary for the third degree?
@Frigidcold Yeah I guess but I got the horrible feeling that I got a solid 4
@kylemoreno101 yeah, thatâs what I did. (FR 6)
@kylemoreno101 Iâd guess you would lose a point, yes. But one point is nothing to fret about. And yes for the second question.
I was really surprised that there was no error question
Yeah I was referring to FRQ 5. The one about finding critical points and stuff. My school is the total opposite from yours lol, its not really the bestâŠwell actually pretty bad its ranked 1000+ in the nation. And only a handful of sophomores take precalculus, while maybe one or two every 3 years takes calc ab. I had to make a special request to take calc bc because im the first sophomore in the history of our school to take it. The bad part is that theyâll be keeping an eye on what score I get, and based on that, they may start encouraging more sophomores to skip and take the classâŠwhich makes me feel a lot of pressure to do well :P. Is âcalculus based statisticsâ a requirement somewhere? I remember hearing that phraseâŠ
@JuicyMango isnât critical point fâ(x)=0?
What did they mean by rational function for fâ?
@kylemoreno101 Yeah critical point refers to the first derivative.
@kylemoreno101: âŠyeah I think Iâm gonna jump from a building now. HOW COULD I FORGET THAT!!! And I spent sooooo much time on finding the second derivative of that horrible fractionâŠhopefully they give me a point for trying or something. Now Iâm genuinely worried that I may get a really high 4; that would SUCK.
Anyone know what will happen if we forgot to parentheses around some integrals on the FRQs? Freaking out because the integral of 2x +3 could be interpreted by the graders as the integral of 2xâŠplus 3.
same ^
@chocomilk123 It was towards the end right? Idk what I put for that I was kinda rushing. Did you put two functions or just one?
