What should we be aiming for on the MC and FRQ to get a 5? I am getting about 54+ on the MC

@Brownster98 can you explain nuclear charge?

I have only a few hours to prepare. What should I do to maximize my time?

@mshiddensecret pray

Its basically the net charge an electron experiences. It increases across a period

But should you put the lines over the 0?
Because 0.00 is no significant figures…

Okay, that makes sense, thank you @PersianPwr and @Brownster98 !

Could anyone explain how voltage is affected in a galvanic cell? What makes it decrease and what makes it increase?

I feel like the curve given on the barron’s online exam is a little too lenient…thoughts?

is the curve already set for us or does it depend on how we do?

I’m not expert on Galvanic Cells cause I just ‘learned’ it today, but basically if you increase the concentration of reactants in a ‘favorable’ galvanic cell; one with a positive voltage, then this will shift it to the right, increasing the voltage.

Can a kind soul please PM me a link to the 2014 practice exam? plsss thanks

Should we be expecting 66% like previous years or high 70’s-low 80’s

for the 5

I got like a 52/60 (on the official exam ofc) with silly mistakes. Hopefully, I can get that 5.

Curve hasn’t been set yet, since it’s new this year. Dang those FRQs are so much harder than the MC.

im still reviewing mc on practice test then imma move onto fr

then imma watch resurrection and go to sleep

Dang, I’m cramming for the next 4 hours after dinner lol.

Going to do two full FRQ sections and some MC.

In the PR book for 2014, it says that you can get a 4 even if you left half the test blank (in prev. years, of course) …I don’t think that’s quite true?
