I have another question, what are the curves for the AP Literature and the AP Language exams.
Thanks in advance.

For Euro, that is correct. But you should aim for 64 or so m choices right to get a better chance of a 5, because of the deductions etc.

Anyone got any info on Chem and the two Econs?

old but...

1994 AP Bio

80-120 - 84% got 5's...16.1% 4's
63-79 - 12.2% 5's...70.5% 4's
49-62 - 14.9% 4's....69.4% 3's
33-48 - 15.4% 3's 76.2% 2's

0-32 - .1% 3's..15.3% 2's....84.6% 1's

I think the 94 exam was one of the harder ones...only 19% got 5's while 24% got 4's...and 23% got 3's.

Euro - 121/180 (5) - 2004 | 67.22%
Calc BC - 64/108 (5),53 (4),36 (3),26 (2) - 2003 | 59.26%
USH - 114/180 (5), 92 (4), 74 (3), 42 (2) - 2001 | 63.33%
Psych - 103/150 (5), 84 (4), 65 (3), 45, (2) - 2004 | 68.67%
Bio (MC) - 80/120 (5), 63 (4), 49 (3), 33(2), 1994 | 66.67% - DOESNT INCLUDE FR

Physics C mechanics
55/90

For a 5 on the Phys C Mech: get around a 23 raw score on the MC out of 35 and 30/45 points on the free response
For a 5 on the Phys C E&M: get around a 21 raw score on the MC out of 35 and 30/45 points on the free response

How about physics B, my school is weird and doesn't even offer a physics C class. (Due to the fact that almost every class is a year long so most students don't take Calculus till Senior year, and that it is a fairly new school)

Euro - 121/180 (5) - 2004 | 67.22%
Calc BC - 64/108 (5),53 (4),36 (3),26 (2) - 2003 | 59.26%

Physics C M - 55/90 (5) | 61.11%
~eternity - r u sure. The previous post is much more lenient about physics C. Also, I think that curve is more similar or even harder than B, and B is supposedly more strict than C.

For the 1998 test you only needed a 49 for a 5 in E and M and only a 55 for Mechanics. If you know your calculus and even SAT level physics there is no way you get less than a 5 on either exam.

Comp Sci A: 60 - 80 = 5, AB: 70 - 100 = 5.

A is a joke, and AB is A with 4 extra topics (big-oh, linked lists, nodes, stacks/queues). Of these four, only two of them require any conceptual understanding beyond the mainframe established by A : Big-Oh and Nodes. Lists and queues are provided in the appendix, as are all major collection classes. In the FRQ it all becomes a matter of whether you can translate directions into code, which isn't terribly hard if you're acclimated to A.

Someone needs to tell me APES curve though. The 2003 exam says you need only a 100 out of 150 for a 5, REA says you need a 120 out of 160....I'm not sure who to trust, a 4 year old AP exam or a more recent prep book...

BTW this is a name i just mad bc my real name was banned for a week

A and AB takers need not worry; Comp Sci is super easy if you know the essentials of programming as well as the concepts presented in C. I know Barron's tends to make things 10x harder than they seem, so be on the lookout for a very easy (compared to Barron's) test in May.

Does anyone happen to have the break down of the curve for AP English Language and AP French Language?

Thanks :)

I tink a 104 or better on English is a 5.

No one cares about the fickle French...LOL jk, seriously I don't know.

Where do you get this information? Is there a website/reference that someone could direct me to?

APUSH - 2006 Released Exam
All out of 180
106 - 180 = 5
85 - 105 = 4
68 - 84 = 3
47 - 67 = 2
0 - 46 = 1

wow /

sweet curve on that one.

are you positive?

Some of these are really nice curves.

How about AP Human Geo?

Excuse me if I overlooked anything. Chances are I did =P

Does anyone know anything about the AP Environmental Science?
