Got a 5 :stuck_out_tongue: For the argument essay, I made up a TV show, a book, and a personal experience lolol

Lol didn’t even use evidence in argument essay and got a 5.

lol I got a 5 despite the sh*tty BS essay about formal speech

yay got a 5

How many of you didn’t finish the last essay? I only wrote two paragraphs and it awkwardly cut off in the middle. Still happy with my 4, considering the fact that we didn’t do anything in English the whole year;) easy class, easy AP test.

This was unexpected but I got a 4. I really thought I would barely pull a 3 because I ran out of time on the MC and had to guess on the last 10 or so. My essays must have been really good or I guessed correctly on the questions at the end.

@russiaguy I didn’t finish my last essay either lol . My third essay was a piece of garbage

I did 5 pages on the synthesis, and then 4 on the analysis and argument and finished with 10 minutes left.

My son self-studied and got a 3, although he was hoping for a 4. I guess he will be taking EN102 his Freshman year

I took my first two AP courses this year and one of them was AP Lang. I got 5s on both

Im thinking about retaking the regents exam for English (counts as the final) so i can finish with a 90 instead of a 89 in the class. i scored a 95 on the regents (1 point off on a saq or essay) so its a small improvement that I need to get to a 100. Should I? or will colleges not care about a 90 vs a 89.

@2016senior how does your school calculate your GPA ?

@Kitsyxoxo on a 0-100 scale (weighted average too) Weighted average(used for class rank) for class would increase from a 94.5 to a 95

@2016senior I personally wouldn’t retake then because it will make only a tiny difference in your GPA .

@Kitsyxoxo but what about the colleges that redo ur GPA for their standards? (4.0 scale and my school only reports the final grades in each class)

Oh I didn’t think about that bc I thought that you were mainly compared to other people that applied from your school . I honestly don’t know if a 90 vs an 89 will make a difference sorry @2016senior

I ended up getting a 3. Honestly shocked me considering I never took the class and was expecting a 2. Still got that college credit

@aaajones pretty sure most colleges require 4 and up for credit waiving?

@michelle426 I know most do, but not the University of Florida. Go gators!

Scored a 5, which is very exciting and generally expected. I scored a high 5 on the practice tests we did in class, but after the test I started to worry that my essays weren’t good enough, so I’m relieved to know that I did score well. Congrats to everyone who successfully finished and passed the test!
