In essay 3, I didn’t really understand the prompt. But I talked about how ownership or a possession identifies an individual… Did I misinterpret it?

Discuss the multiple choice anyone?

@Smarty1201 thats what i did.

@thedude147, which one did you do?

For the argumentative, I talked about how what we own defines who we are as well.

What about the analysis essay?

So the highest I could get on the synthesis is a 4…sigh I really really hope I at least pass the test! I don’t think I have a chance of getting a 5 now unless I did extremely well on everything else (unlikely). Wow…not using 3 sources…that was a really really dumb mistake.

For the analysis i used ethos, pathos, logos

I was running a bit on time for the argumentative one… introduction was beautiful (I qualified it) but after that, it went downhill. cant see myself getting any higher than a 6 on it. But as for the other two, im confident in both being a 7, with at least one being an 8 (depending on who grades and the mood they’re in).

Also, my teacher told me that two people read your essay. If they can’t agree on it, you can get the average of the two. Is this true? Can you get 7.5s or 8.5s?

@thedude147, would my analysis essay be right then?

@Smarty1201 yes, as long as you explained the importance of your rhetorical strategies.

Will I be penalized if I forgot to cite the source for the photo, and instead just discussed the statue itself?

i wasn’t sure about the question about the thesis of the fish passage. i was debating between something about a conclusion with supporting evidence and an answer choice about how the thesis is developed over the course of the passage. what did y’all put?

It’s the latter.

So, nobody wants to share their thesis for the argument essay?

I put thesis is developed over course of passage

Anybody else put that?

i put that it developed over the course of the passage

I put that too smarty. Btw what was the purpose of the passage?? It was the first question for the fish passage.

quick question: for the 3rd essay, would i lose points for writing in 2nd person? i felt like it was the only way to develop my voice and didnt think about the possibility of losing points…

What were the answer choices?
