thanks man!

Thos solutions look accurate, however I don’t agree with the new position of B. I believe it is above a.

i also believe it is above a.

for the one where it said vs in terms of vb, if i wrote vs=2vb but then kept going and plugged in vb for square root 2gH from part a to get vs= 2 sqaureroot 2gH instead of vs=2vb will i lose points?

how’s the curve for physics b late testing?

will it be around the same as regular testing?

the curve is usually pretty forgiving i think. if you haven’t already seen this you can check this out for an idea of how many right you need to score a 3,4,5

Do you guys think the cutoff for a 5 will be any lower this year? at my school, at least, all of the top students seemed to have trouble with question 1 part c

For the first question part e, you also could have said that since the pulley isn’t massless, it requires energy to put it into rotational motion, decreasing the rate of change of the kinetic energy of the two blocks and thus decreasing their overall acceleration. And the level of a does go down - pressure is only dependent on height, not volume or mass. Since the height goes down, the pressure goes down.

So after barely learning half the material for the exam, writing rap lyrics for 4 (I think) of the free response questions, and not studying for a second; I managed to pull off a 2. No applause necessary. Well good luck yo everyone going back to high school next year. I wish you all the best of luck on all your ap’s and sat’s and such. For those of you going into senior year, get ready for the best year of high school. I actually enjoyed going to school because of it, so much fun. Oh and contrary to what a lot or ppl say, I think first semester of senior year was by far harder than all of junior year cuz you’ve got all your ap’s, community service, sports, and on top of that you’re trying to write 1,000 essays for college applications. But yea I miss it a ton. And beware, senioritis is a very very vicious disease…
If you’re applying to georgia tech, they don’t take any form of credit from physics b so pretty much this entire year was a grand waste of time :)

After leaving two or three parts on FR #7 i still managed to pull off the 5!!

I got a 5! The College Board is allowing teachers to get scores. One can also get there score by calling the College Board for $8.
That was a great year of physics! Calculus-based Physics and Physics II here I come!

ya i also got a 5. the best part was for the frq that asked the distance to a uranium atoms nucleus or something i put 6 amu :D

I got a 5 as well. Congratulations guys! I’m dancing on the inside because I totally freaked out during that AP, the entire year, and the entire month after it.

I haven’t gotten my AP scores yet (I’m not willing to spend $8 yet, cheap, I know)

If applicable, what SAT Subject Score would translate to a 5 on the AP Physics test? I just want soothe my nerves a bit. I think I performed around the same in each scenario and I think my essays were decent.

Thanks in advance!

I left the whole lab question blank and I also got a 700 on Physics SAT Subject Test.
But I somehow managed to get a 5 on the AP.

I got completely screwed in the MC (which was harder than any practice test I had done) and know I got 2/7 of the FRQ completely wrong. It’s extremely unlikely I got perfects on the other 5 free responses. The whole month after the AP was me thinking how I was gonna get anywhere from a 1 to 3 on the exam.

But I ended up with a 5… what?

yeah i thought that was the hardest exam ever and i got a 5. I was expecting a 3 and hoping the grades pity on my drivel and gave me just enough points for a 4.

I GOT A 5! and I didn’t know what I was doing through a lot of the exam. apparently I did? haha :)

LOL I guess I’ll break the trend here - I know I probably got around 40-45 MC right and about a 60% on the FR and got a 4 - I’m happy!
