Official AP Psychology thread 2012

Sorta… It’s fear of places without an easy escape.

^I put fear of public places with lots of people, which is an example…and I said she needs to overcome that to thrive socially. Ugh, I hate how a small miswording can eliminate an entire point…

Crystallized intelligence is simply what one knows. My answer involved knowing how to do things such as cook, but the possibilities are very wide

Ugh this sucks, there goes my 5 lol.

I put that she condenses all the information she learns…I was thrown off by “crystallized.” Will I fail?

My teacher thought us that fluid intelligence is what you’re born with (IQ) and crystallized is what you learn. So i said she took 4 years of a Catalan course and she met someone who also took it and through this they broke the ice with each other and so she made a friend…

I thought crystallized intelligence meant all accumulated general knowledge from the past.
So I put that she could have difficulty adapting to the educational intensity of college if she had weak crystallized intelligence and forgot everything from high school.

I’m literally crying. The one about sensorimotor stage was the girl throwing her toy on the floor?

Also, I’m pretty sure creativity is Divergent…

For one of them I put “Is consistent among cultures and times”…, what was that? I forgot the question.

@meat kabob that sounds like it would get you the point definitely. And @whatslife yup I put that too

I put that her crystallized intelligence would either help her or not benefit her. For example, in classes she would know some of the material if it was covered in High School, and this would make her understanding much easier. However, if her crystallized memory was bad and she couldn’t recall learned items, maybe she had to take remedial classes in college. Does that get the point?

no it wasn’t consistent by time. whatever that question was

Which glass has more is also a conservation task, seen in the Concrete Operational Stage.

The consistent by culture and time was the gender roles one. Thats the wrong answer. The correct one was that it begins in early childhood.

What do you guys think the curve will be for a 5? In 2004, it was 113, will it be that high? If so, i think I’m on the border.

yeah… @alwaysleah i got that too

I think the curve will be easier. This was a harder test than normal.

Is thre a multiplier for this test? For example on the practice apish test we need to multiple our score by 1.125. And the Dbq by like 4.5 or something like that.

Crap >.< This MC was certainly harder than the 2004 and 2007, combined.
