Official AP US History Thread 2012

Social Gospel was about helping out the poor and Zoot Suit Riots were between Sailors and Marines

isnt carter middle east because of camp david accords?
and what was the answer to helen hunt jackon and levittown?

Yeah, I put Middle East for Carter also…

the Zoo riots were in california.

I’m pretty sure carter was middle east

I said the Carter question was Middle East.
First Camp David = international peacekeeping
then Iran Hostages = humiliation

dingdongdang -
Helen Hunt Jackson was the passage of Dawes Severalty Act.

What country has the US had a continuous presence in since the 1950s? I put South Korea, but someone said Israel.

What was the other options for the GI Bill? I know I narrowed it down to automobilies and another option but I’m not sure which.

And what about the one that split the womens movement?

Split in women’s movement was over the 15th amendment, which gave black men the right to vote but not women.

MC

End of French and Indian War led to … (Impose colonial taxes?)
Roosevelt Corollary to the Monroe Doctrine
1920-1970 Increase in what immigration group
Brown v. Board

its korea. we went to korea in the 1950s. It only makes logical sense.

the other choice that i narrowed down to was job training i think the other ones were right…

Yeah, zoot suit riots were the navy in Cali fighting with local teens, awnser A on the test

@dingdongdang I think one of the election years was 1948 and in that one there was an ideological split in the parties

the GI bill was automobiles.

And what was the awnser to the question about the Whigs and the Republicians?

The similarity between the elections of 1860 and 1968 (Lincoln and LBJ, respectively) was the Democrats’ split along sectional lines.

Pretty certain the similarity between the Panic of 1819 and the Panic of 1837 was the sudden contractions of the availability of bank loans.

For the two political parties question about the 1830s, are you talking about a question at the end of the test? I remember a question was asking what best characterized the 2 parties that formed in the 1830s (Whigs and Dems). I picked A, which was that they were from a variety of geographic locations and something else. It was a really stupid answer since of course people from each party were found everywhere.

Probably not a good idea to discuss answers…

Guys, Collegeboard specifically goes to sites like CC and Yahoo Answers to cancel the scores of people who discuss exam questions before the 48 hours are up. Also, we’re NEVER allowed to discuss the MC

Sent from my iPhone using CC

^ Yea… no…

OMG thank god i put those answers
and yeah im talking about the question towards the end of the test lol

Let’s make a list :D
