<p>Why I think I got in: BU admission must be less of a numbers game than NEU. My essay explained my unique upbringing. Volunteer hours probably helped. All that and decent ACT must have been enough to ignore a lacking gpa.</p>

<p>Ah, guess I didn’t get my app in on time then, since I don’t have a merit decision page. I thought I beat the buzzer but guess not. That just about crosses BU off the list, which is a shame since I actually liked the school. </p>
