Did your status change today?

I have a quick question about the application. I was looking my app over last night, and I realized that I accidentally put that I took my ACT in October, but I really took it in September. My scores are the scores I got in September, it’s just the date that’s wrong. I sent the admissions office an email about it, but do you think this will be ok? Do you think they’ll view it as my self reported info not being correct?

how did you look at your application? sorry i’m not much of help, but if the numbers are all the same as your sept scores… then it would make sense that they would assume that you made a mistake with the date. besides, you already contacted them about it!

Yeah, I’m thinking that too, but I’m just paranoid about it. haha. I went to that csumentor website and logged in. Then I clicked apply and then it showed the applications I’ve already submitted and then I clicked on the Cal Poly one.

Did your portal just change today???

I’m so confused as to what order CP is sending acceptance notifications…I have almost the same exact criteria as Hooplah (Regular decision, major: psychology, GPA: 4.04, SAT: 1710)
and I haven’t heard anything from them! Congrats though, Hooplah! I’m so anxious to hear from them

I know how you feel, there was a business major with my EXACT stats that got accepted and some with lower and I am still waiting to hear. Who knows what they use to decide and send out decisions. I know it is more then numbers though. I hate the wait.

My daughter was all worried last week when 5 of her classmates were accepted and she had not seen any change in her status. Two of here classmates were even accepted into architecture, her chosen major, and my daughter has higher grades. Out of curiosity, I called admissions on Friday and asked them if that was a good or bad sign that some had been accepted in her major and her status had not changed. She was very nice and told me it meant nothing. With all of the applications they got, it will take them up to 2 weeks to get it all updated, and to just keep checking every day online. I felt a lot better.
