Has anyone be accepted for Animal Science yet??

@ mommaburris
I received my acceptance days earlier (10 days ago, actually). The e-mail came much later. It’s really conspicuous as well. “Hey, it’s Cal Poly… just… click here okay.” I might be one of the first ones to have been given acceptance. I read somewhere that they will be sending acceptances for about 2 weeks.
There is still hope! Good luck and best wishes to your daughter!

@livelovepeace: i have been accepted to animal science major as an incoming freshman.

Has anyone been accepted as a Chemistry Major? I’m a junior in high school and my dream is Cal Poly SLO Chemistry Major! Dx

Is it as prestigious, like Architechture, to get into? Since acceptance varies by major, apparently… My GPA isn’t so…high.

do waitlisted freshman ever get in? anyone know? also, does anyone know if a student does get waitlisted if slo ranks the waitlist. i haven’t heard back, just getting worried.

I don’t know what percentage of waitlisted freshmen get in. Here’s the information on waitlist notifications.
[After You Apply - Admissions - Cal Poly](<a href=“Cal Poly Admissions”>Cal Poly Admissions)

“Those offered Wait List status are notified they will be considered for admission again should additional openings occur in their declared major. Freshman candidates on Wait List will be notified of the final decision regarding their Wait List status by May 15th, while transfer candidates will be notified by July 15th.”

@ saporian… Thanks for your feedback. The suspense is killing us!!
