I believe both. Not sure which one first.

You will eventually get an email referring you to check the portal but it seems that the portal will it reflect the update well ahead of the email going out.

seriously checking every 30 minutes all day long

@alextoria I think you have a good chance but Mech E is one of the more competitive majors at SLO. As long as your CSU gpa was >=4.2 (max capped) then you have considerable chances.

@wolfpackxc haha save it for tomorrow noon man!

Is computer science considered a part of engineering at SLO? I could not find a clear answer, and is it as competitive as the other engineering majors?

@will187651 yeah, I my chances are a lot lower just because I’m applying into engineering thanks so much though!

@Future4YrStudent Yes it is. Comp sci is considered engineering at most schools. It is one of the most selective majors in SLO with a projected acceptance rate of 15% and is only beat by Bio-medical engineering in the college of ENG with a projected rate of 11%

@will187651 do you know the acceptance rate for mechanical engineering?

@alextoria Its not an official acceptance rate. These are projections from SLO based off of how many students their are aiming to enroll for the new year. Mech E is 18%

Chances for Business Admin?

3.77 CSU GPA

@acealex123 SAT II scores are not considered.

haha I know thanks @will187651

anyone know what the early decision acceptance rate for tourism and recreation management major are? thanks!

@wolfpackxc Check out my post #71 on page 5 to find out. However this is an overall PROJECTION, not the actual acceptance rate.

@will187651 oh wow, lost all hope for acceptance, might get in for my Alt. major though. Thanks for the info!

@Future4YrStudent haha you’re not out till you’re out and slo doesn’t consider alt major.

@will187651 What do you think my chances are?
