@nomie1, yes I know with complete confidence the plan & place are already laid out for her. I have prayed the whole time since last fall, that we will trust His plan, and know it is the perfect plan for her. (I still wished for CP slo, it is a place we are very comfortable with, the Christian community is very strong as well as having a thriving Crusades movement) Chico is her second choice. @CDSMOM I am not giving up on CP, only time will tell. Our girls will be great where ever they land. <3

@jackiechan - no melodrama intended. I was just browsing the acceptance forum from last year, and waitlist decisions started within 3 days of in-state announcements. But I will try to think more positive!

Can someone explain Crusades movement please?

ptlprincess96 - Waiting for the same…

@UnivolvedMom Crusades for Christ ( known as Cru) is a Christian organization or “club” for college students.

Studies show that over time university degrees do not make a big difference in career success. It is the qualities that cause you to be admitted that cause success. Another study showed that people who were admitted to Harvard but went to other schools outperformed Harvard grads. People skills matter a lot, so develop those and connect to many others wherever you go in life.

Still waiting here, Nutrition major. We have not heard from SDSU either. Anyone who applied to SDSU have acceptance? We haven’t even heard from ASU yet either (last on the list). Only accepted to Chico, and an upstate NY private. Stats aren’t at the top, but we are hopeful (3.7GPA, 1050/1550SAT, 22ACT, college courses)

Yes to the Psychology question upthread. Found out yesterday.

Have there been any decisions yet today?

kelliebeff - Sounds like congrats are in order. Can you give stats?

applied to SDSU awhile back, was accepted late Dec

Accepted SDSU before Christmas. Still waiting to hear from Cal Poly for BME.

CPJohn- Weighted CSU GPA 4.1, ACT 28.

have there been any decisions about childhood development?

It’s gone incredibly quiet on this forum…does this mean NO engineering decisions today??? ugh

@trakarclay I just realized that a few pages up-thread you asked my son’s stats. I don’t recall the exact numbers but strongly believe that the algorithm worked in his favor. We had tons of hope but were well aware that it was an extremely high reach for him. He has over 500 hours of internships and volunteer hours as well as several hooks which were mostly irrelevant due to CalPoly’s limited application.

“Reach for the moon. Even if you miss you’ll land among the stars.”
In this case, I think he got the moon!

Any Kinesiology news?

Just accepted to Cal Poly for Business Admin as a transfer 3.9 GPA literally right now

Congrats @calpolyslo14!!!

@KeenOne, my son was accepted a SDSU late Dec.
And yes, it has been way to quite on here - don’t know what to think!
