*Decision: Accepted, CFA School of Art *
*Decision: Rejected, CFA School of Design *

Objective:[ul]
[] SAT I (breakdown): 1860
[] ACT: 27 (Yeah, test scores really shouldn't be correlated to aptitude)
[] SAT II: None
[] Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): 3.9
[] Rank (percentile if rank is unavailable): 4/95
[] AP (place score in parenthesis): U.S. History (4)
[] IB (place score in parenthesis): None
[] Senior Year Course Load: Difficult
[] Major Awards (USAMO, Intel etc.): Random ones.

[] Intended Major: Art?
[] School Type: Private
[] Ethnicity: White
[] Gender: Male
[] Income Bracket: I don't know.
[] Hooks (URM, first generation college, etc.): Portfolio; Supplementary Music CD.
[/ul]Reflection[ul]
[] Strengths: Portfolio, Recommendations, GPA, Activities.
[] Weaknesses: Test Scores?
[li] Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: Perhaps it is because I can sell a mill sayin' nothin' on the track. Haha, no... um, I think my grades, portfolio and essays really did help a lot. [/li][/ul]General Comments: I just found out tonight online, so there's hope for a lot of CFA applicants. I was rejected from the School of Design, but I'm elated to be accepted into the School of Art. Honestly, I was worried about my test scores because my perfectionism made it difficult for me to complete each section in the given amount of time. I realize I couldn't have gotten into the Institute of Technology with a 27 ACT (that's for sure), but hopefully other people can realize that it's not all about test scores. CMU is a lot of money though - this will not be easy.
