Official Class of '09 Thread

ahaha that is AWESOME!! i'm starting to get some really good halloween costume ideas out of this. god i am a dork.

coleman, duuudddde i cannot BELIEVE you with "i wear my sunglasses as night!" that's definitely one of my favorites too! my friends and i were obsessed with that song over the summer....we went through a big phase with that one....that's so weird. i've decided, you and i are going to best friends this fall, it's just the way it's gonna happen....haha.

heck yes we're gonna be bff! oh i am so excited! rock on!

In response to the Nickelodeon stuff i have a song.

Patty ur the Katchup on my french (hicup) fries
Patty ur the ice inside my tea
Patty your the mustard (hicup) on my sandwich
And Patty ur the mayonaise for me
Whoa Whoa Whoa

thx for the inspiration Kate ;)

I loved that show. LOL. We're such little kids. Did anyone else go to their local accepted students reception? I went to mine today and it was fun-- good group of people. All the alumns were really great and interested in us-- one even gave me his card and said to look him up my first break home and he'd take me to lunch to hear how things are going at the school. Great people. Yay for W&L. Can't wait til August.

~*~

there was no local accepted students reception, because there are no other local accepted students.

in other news, i feel quite left out because i (almost) never watched nickelodeon. but i did (and, er, still do) watch a lot of disney...does that count?

Absolutely-- anyone ever watch "Ocean Girl?" That was a favorite for a while, too. Hmm, in retrospect, I watched a lot more tv as a kid than I thought...

~*~

i went to my accepted students reception. and thought it was really awkward.

although one lady said she was going to come see a volleyball game even though i had never met her before in my life. that was kind.

my accepted students' night was awesome. i liked pretty much everyone i met, and got to know a lot of people. it made me even more excited to be going down to W&L this fall. some kids were snobby, and that ****ed me off, but i'm not all about that....i think we can all be friends. ;) haha

ya i just got back from mine and everyone was really nice... and short. i mean im short as well, but everyone else was too, like all the guys were. i guess new orleans just makes them small, but they were def cute! i am so excited for august!

Man, I'm SO bummed. We didnt' even get an accepted students night here in Seattle. I think last year WnL took all of five students from my state, so that might have something to do with it. Even so, I'm pretty jealous of y'all.

Haha yeah, supposedly they had one for New England students, but I never got anything in the mail. I guess they forgot about me because I'm the only kid from Maine :-(.

EVERYONE WAS REALLY SHORT AT MINE TOO. although i'm 6'2" so that's not really a rare occurrance. i had such high hopes, though...

Haha. High hopes... pun intended?

Wow, 6'2"== you could give me a run for my money (I'm 6'2" too).

idk, maybe just our class is really short. ive been up there twice and there were plenty of tall people. who knows

hahah high hopes. i'm so witty. without even trying.

well at least there will be someone my height there

i'm really excited that there are a lot of short people: i am 4'11. and all you 6'2 people can go stick your head in a toilet. or something.

i'm not sure my head could reach down that far

Yeah Kassie and I could have a contest to do that, but I don't think either of us would win.

woop woop, i am here to represent the average/medium height people that seem to be small in number. holler.

this has nothing to do with anything, and it might be a stupid question, but does anyone know if it snows a lot in lexington in the winter?

It does snow. Like a couple inches at a time and then melts :-(.
