<p>I'm not sure where I am. One of the years lol. I called my dad and I know he mentioned it to me but I was too anxious to hear which college so I forgot. I'll tell you later today when I get home and examine the contents of the orange folder (aka the embodiment of my depression).</p>
<p>If you ask for a single you have a very strong chance of getting Butler. Butler and Wilson are next door to each other and very close to Frist. Students from both often eat in one or the other's dining hall, and Butler and Wilson students both often study at the library in Wilson, even though Butler also has a very nice library. Butler has a beautiful dining room, a grand piano, and a leafy quad where students hang out in good weather. It's true your room will not be historic, but the location is great. In Butler if you want a single as a sophomore your chances are excellent, and in Wilson there is all sorts of great sophomore housing, some say the best on campus. <p>No matter which college you're in, you will get to know great people and have a terrific year.</p>
<p>Aparent, I was under the impression that you got sorted into a res college before they look at which room to assign you, in which case, asking for a single wouldn't increase your chances of being in butler per se. In any case, I was not aware of this when I sent in my form, so I probably asked for Butler by requesting a single.</p>
<p>Zant, that is what the rumor mill says. However, as you can see on this thread, many don't get what they asked for! And now you've got a single, which is not easy for a frosh to do at most schools. I know students are disappointed when they don't get into a gothic dorm, but you will be saying "Yea, Butler" before you know it. :) Likewise to the Wilson students.</p>
<p>the floor plan measuring tool measures in inches. fireplaces are awkward insets (tehy don't actually work, so they aren't important). most of the gothic buildings (rocky and mathey) have them and wilson butler and forbes do not.</p>

<p>Omig- I knew I was gonna get in Forbes bc I really didn't want to be in it! At least I'm not in substance free (I think) IThe bathr oom is right near my room which is good.... but I'll feel much better if I find out I have a bigger room and a nice roomate, otherwise I might cry!</p>
<p>The bathroom might be IN your room, as Forbes is known for big doubles and private bathrooms.
I'll switch with you if you'd rather have Butler :p</p>
