and 2 varsity letters (swimming, crew) ._.

moricarak, you are alot like me, ijust have a lower ACT (26) but I honestly don’t know, me and you are in the realm of the unknown right now

So are you all thinking this next batch of decisions will be posted on WA Thursday at 6 am. Also I spoke with an addmissions officer over the weekend and he confirmed the fact that extremely qualified people that were “no brainers” for them totally hear back first.

Yeah I’m pretty confident. This way they can skip over thanksgiving (every other week) After that though it could be possible that decisions become an every week affair. Praying for a decision on Thursday though! I’M SO EXCITED CAN YOU GUYS NOT TELL! eyes twitching hysterically

What did you apply to? LSA, etc… I applied to engineering
All of my stuff was processed on 10/27, how about you?

^^haha, geeez. this is making the weeks pass by pretty quickly, actually. like, quickly & slowly at the same time :/

At least December because I’m assumig you missed EA, it’s really subjective to your stats though

^LSA everything was in on 9/23

Have you given any thought to transfering if you don’t get in off the bat? I know that’s what i’ll do if I don’t get in this time

In my case, I probably will not apply to transfer to U-M.

I think it’s much easier to get in by transferring, if that is consolation to anybody considering that route. The average gpa of an admitted LSA transfer student is a 3.6. While a 3.6 is in theory harder to get in college than it was in high school, I didn’t think it was in the end. I think I ended up having a 3.5 when I applied, got in, and left that school with a 3.7. And high school totally kicked my ass, so I guess you never know how college will go. lol

When did you transfer? winter term sophmore year… etc.

Yeah I kind of jacked around in the beginning of high school and my ACT score reflects that, so if I don’t get in I will for sure be transferring. This university is my life. I would die without even living if I never attended

My stats are below the school average, my ACT/ SAT is whats below their average the most though.

^ You should just post your stats. Say they’re below average isn’t much info. It would really help some nervous people out, and besides, no one knows who you are :)

^
I statisically already know my chances with my deferrel. I guess I will state my GPA, which is a 3.625 W, and about a 3.5 UW… my school only offers about 5 Ap’s, I took two of them my junior year ( Ap Bio, Ap Human Geography… oh yeah only upperclassmen allowed to take Ap’s), this year I will be taking the other 3 Ap’s offered ( APUSH, Ap Calc, Ap Eng). This explains why my unweighted GPA is very close to my weighted. I’m use to the ACT scoring, so my SAT score with writing is between the range of 21-25 ( converting to ACT score).

Coolbreeze have you gotten a letter or an official statement saying you were deferred yet? Or are you assuming based off the “7th Semester Grades” thing?

^
It said 7th semester grades notified, and few days later I got the letter. My mom doesn’t understand that I was deferred since the word " deferred" is not stated in the letter, but it was nothing other than a deferrel or light rejection.
Letter was dated as Nov 9th, all my material for the school ( including rec’s) was in by Oct 10th.

That’s really odd. It didn’t give you a “view decision” link in Wolverine Access?

^
No, but they didn’t get a decision link last year either from my research… it will just have 7th semester grades notified.
