i saw someone wearing a michigan shirt today in my psych class and i almost started hyperventilating.

thursday needs to COME.

It seriously does. I keep checking WA every day in case some weird cosmic fluke happened and some kind of decision is up, haha how irrational is that? I cannot wait anymore!

jackdaniels and mechiganboy and sailor09…
when did you guys send in your stuff by? I got mine in on the 30th and it said recieved by 11/07, so is it too much to hope for a decision this thursday?

I sent my app in on the 31 and i got the 'you made the EA deadline" email on the 12th, so i’m assuming that’s when they got it. Everything was received that week, but my recs just updated on the website today (i called in and they received them a LONG time ago, but they updated today for some reason). I don’t know, I have this weird feeling that I’ll find out this Thursday haha, but honestly I have no idea. There’s people who submitted way before us and technically they should get there’s this thursday and we should get ours in the group after that, but im hoping some oct 30-31 people get it this week

okay everything for me was in on 9/23 but i NEVER received a notification that i made the early response deadline. Anyone else in this boat? (kinda flippin $hit right now)

same here i nv got the email…

hmmmmm, that is suspicious. I bet for those who submitted super early didn’t get an email because it was quite obvious that it was before the deadline. now there is one thing that worries me though, the parent/family authorization. From the looks of it it doesn’t have anything to do with the application process. Anyone do that?

No haha the parent authorization is only if you want your parents to have access to your WA site. And from what I gathered from the other thread, you only get the ER deadline email if you submitted right before the deadline. I’m not sure about this, but that’s what it seems like based on what everyone has been saying.

you submitted 9/23 and still didnt get a decision? yea f that there’s no way us 10/30-10/31 people are getting anything this thursday

Well my stats are borderline. I believe at this point it is anyones game of who gets decisions when.

Ok i just spent a while looking at last years admission thread, and the next batch of decisions went to the October 15-20 people. The few people I saw that got accepted in this batch that had submitted towards the end of October had super high stats, 4.0s and 2300+ (it was only like three people). Aside from that people who applied after oct 20 (give or take) got their decisions later in December, and I think at that point it just depends on how borderline you are in terms of stats.

But then again, this was last year. This year they are no longer recalculating GPA, so it could go a lot faster…or slower now that they have to place more emphasis on individual grades. You never know.

Does anyone know when the “seventh semester grades requested” thing pops up if you were deferred? Like can it come up any day, or is it the day before a batch of decisions goes out?

Michiganboy - whould you mind sharing your stat?

I had everything recieved 10/30
my act is 29, 34 in math
my gpa is lower 3.45. In all APs and honors classes
I’m going for CoE and that ups my gpa too

Oh and I will definitely try to transfer in if all else fails. And I am taking the December ACT :)

@Scoreschoice,

I really hope you get in. From your posts, I can see truly see your love for UMich!!!

Good Luck.

^Thanks bro. Hopefully Thursday!

My brother was accepted as a transfer and begins in January, will that help me?

^ Im afraid not. Only alumnis would actually make a difference. And the difference isn’t even that big.

and you know that to be a definite fact?
