Yes your brother would not of finished college by the time you enroll, thus he is not an ALUMNI. You know what alumnis are right? lol

Hmmmmmmm, i was under the impression that having a relative attending helped your cause…

but at the same time I don’t think the online app would have accepted the statement if what you’re saying is true… you remember the auto error search thing?
I’ll just call sometime and ask. I will post what I hear too

Siblings attending do help. Not sure how much, but they do take it into account. Although since your brother isn’t at UM yet, I don’t know if they’ll count that.

According to the application it states has any family member (mother/father/grandparent/sibling) “Attended”, not “graduated”. I asked and they told me that was correct.

^ I don’t know if I’d be THAT confident. I do think you are competitive for admission, but your stats are pretty borderline. Legacy and being instate will help, and hopefully you applied early. I would say match.

Does anyone know what time on Thursday UMICH releases admissions decisions??

early. either at midnight or early morning(like 6 AM). so check tomorrow morning.

Thanks. Good luck to everyone who is waiting.

What time on Thursday do decisions get posted?

Sorry…I just read the other post!

hey guys, so I was just wondering how often do the UM admissions release decisions through their rolling basis? Is it every thursday a new batch of decisions are released or something?

thanks in advance!

^ Everyother thursday. However, fifth batch comes out tomorrow. Then the last batch before rejections and many deferrals occur.

@MI2014: damn… ■■■

@MI2014: That’s not necessarily true. They might not keep up the same pattern when it gets closer and closer to the 24th.

I think tomorrow will be the 4th batch, not 5th?? Since decisions have been released every other thursday starting October 22, November 5, and lastly November 19.

Decision are every other thursday (tomorrow) and I am enough of a geek to have checked last years blog and people even got accepted on the 24th of December last year, so there is hope until then!

What a Christmas present that would be!

Hang in there guys, almost there. :)
