i dont think these people know what there talking about from the live chat thing anyway…

It was talked about for a moment a bit ago, but if “7th Semester Grades” appear on the required materials list, does this indicated a deferral? I applied to UMich knowing that it would require a ton of luck to be accepted, based on my credentials (~3.2 GPA, which seems pretty low compared to others’) and lack of extra curricular activities.

yeah it means a deferral…sorry.

i keep waiting for an email and I check WA all the time but I never see anything about a decision… as the 24th draws near I get more and more anxious about checking WA. I’m scared to check now -_-

Is there a definite number of seats that UM fills during EA, and once they’ve filled them, they defer the remaining candidates? If that were the case, then this would really suck.

Folks, I would be very surprised if there was not a major batch of news next week. Last year, my s’s acceptance was on the 11th, which was a Thurs. Since they didn’t release any this week, I expect they’ll be gunning next. In other words, I am certain they would not be complete with the rolling EAs yet. And btw, the decisions keep rolling thereafter too…even the RD is not all at once but ongoingly. Now, I am basing this opinion on last year and it’s true that they could indeed wait if everyone is behind in their work (at least three bad storm days around here) so if they’re really backed up, anything is possible. But next Thurs. the 18th is one night I’d go to the trouble to check ; )

This was the longest week of my life waiting for college letters! After unexpectedly getting the first acceptance letter I was so eager to get more! I’m positive everyone else feels the exact same way but AHH it’s so frustrating.

Ya, after getting my first acceptance letter, I was eager to find out all of my other decisions, one of which being U-M. It is taking them a while, but I am sure that they are doing the best they can. Now that I have an option, the nervousness has eased up a bit, although, I can’t wait to get my U-M decision.

keep in mind that OOS UMich its gonna be close to 50k/year XO

^ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

hahahhaa 50 k a year?
yeahhhh i guess i shouldn’t we worried about getting accepted anymore…
