As an update, I received a letter informing me I got the full tuition honors scholarship today = ) (exactly a week from the acceptance letter). Also got the invite for the chancellor’s scholarship - debating whether three essays in 2 weeks is worth the small chance of getting it.

hey all! I also received notification of a full tuition scholarship today. Someone on another thread asked me to post my stats here, so here they are! I hope they help ease your nerves, because I’m sure you are all as nervous as I was before the mail came today!

GPA: 4.18 W (about 3.8 UW)
ACT: 35
Rank: my school only releases quartiles, but top quartile

I’ve taken basically all AP and honors classes and am involved in multiple clubs, two sports (captain of one), and my local volunteer ambulance squad. I was also invited to apply for the guaranteed medical program at pitt (so many extra essays to write in addition to the chancellors ones, yikes!)

Hope that helps, and good luck to all of those who have not received their notification yet!

Izzy4college: As decisions and awarding of scholarships gets posted, you will find some head-scratching decisions even if the applicants have top-rated stats. I believe her hook is her URM status.
