@kaatherinee You can appeal if there is something new that was not included in your application. Otherwise it would be a waste of time.

This was the first US college I heard back from, so I’m pretty happy! I didn’t really know what my chances were since I got in trouble once (long story), but yay!

Admitted NU.in from California. Honestly would have rather been rejected, I don’t want to start at my #1 school 6 months late after spending a semester in some other country. Anyone know if you even get to choose?

@Rarcher I’m a freshman at Northeastern right now, and I have one very good friend who went on NUin Dublin in the fall and absolutely LOVED it. She’s said that she felt similar things right when she got accepted, but now wouldn’t trade the experience for anything. And I do believe you get a few locations to choose from, from what I remember. Also: One of the biggest things that helped her was watching past student videos on YouTube, so if you’re at all interested in Northeastern/NUin (which, I’m biased, but you should be) look up some of those videos and see what you think!

I was accepted for the NUin program; honestly don’t disregard it right away, it seems like people actually love it!

@jaredstone4 Thanks for your input. What I’m concerned about, though, is not the semester itself but rather making the transition to the Boston campus. It seems like a bad idea to miss the first 6 months of my college experience where everybody’s already made friends and gotten settled in while you’re then just arriving, probably living somewhere separate from other freshman. Just how it seems to me.
