Crap. I just realized that I sent my corrections to the common app to ugrad-ask@columbia.edu instead of ugrad-confirm.

I sent it because I forgot to list two electives for my schedule this year. But the thing is that I’m sending in my 1st quarter senior grades…

Should I shoot them another email this late in the game?

I got a letter in the mail recently too, about finacial aid and picturing myself at Columbia, I think they have a mailing list that they always send generic information too randomly… shrugs

Has anyone who applied ed gotten likely letters though?? I thought they only did likely letters for regular decision ???

ugh i don’t want to vent to anyone about me having heart attacks whenever i visualize myself just logging in. i feel like it’ll be really embarrassing if i spend all this time obsessing and i don’t even get in.

does anyone else feel like their heart is going to fall out?

i need to prepare myself for rejection because i’m waaaaay to excited right now.

I early decided on Columbia and recently had the interview, and thought I’d share something funny about it that might relieve some stress for fellow Columbia ED applicants.

So the interview was at Starbucks at 5:30, so I figured I’d show up like 5:15, but I ended up messing the times and showing up at 5:00. So I sit there for half an hour, kill some time, read the paper, etc. At 5:30 the guy’s not there.

So okay, whatever. I kill ten more minutes. He’s STILL not there. So I’m wondering what’s going on, and then I get a call “Are you at Starbucks?” I was at the wrong one lol

So I drive around for like fifteen more ****ing minutes and finally track down the right Starbucks and end up showing up 25 minutes late for the Columbia interview. Granted the interview went fairly well, but nonetheless it’s definitely not putting my best foot forward haha

so when you guys get worried about your ED chances you can think “well, at least I was on time for the interview”

I didn’t receive the ‘picture urself in Columbia’ email. I hope that it’s not related to admission chance. If Columbia sent out the decision release date 4 days before the RD release, then we should receive tmr.
