<p>I don’t think athletes make up the majority. I think it’s recruited athletes+more accomplished applicant pool+ ED boost. Most admission officers deny the existence of ED boost, but considering Columbia is admitting nearly 50% of its class in ED round, it would be less competitive in ED round with much less applicants.</p>

<p>update: Columbia responded to my email in 20 minutes and sent me my PIN. I can now log in! So exciting : )</p>

<p>haha it scares me that I have yet to receive an email… I’m just going to contact them tomorrow morning first thing because it seems that everyone has received an email except for me and I know that everything went through because 1. I checked on the website before it closed down on the 30th and 2. I was asked for an interview, which can only happen if everything is in.</p>

<p>I really want to be compensated for my endurance of horrendous high school life with a terrible roommate. I learned few days ago that last year drug addicted Chinese roommate was arrested despite his father’s authority in the government for beating up a civilian with his gangs. I feel very remorseful in my decision of selecting high school and not changing. My conflict with the roommate who always smoked weed in the dorm wasted vast amount of my time on grade 11 which I could utilize for my school work and SAT. School only gave warnings to him although they caught him using drug over 3 times… I suppose this is ‘what if’ remorse that comes just before one of the biggest events in people’s lives. Don’t you guys have any regret on your high school life which you would like to fix if you could go back in time?</p>
