any real predictions as to acceptance/ rejection? i really predict i can get an acceptance

I wouldn’t be surprised either way for me. Every part of my app is outstanding I think, plus I’m part Basque, making me a URM (thanks, Franco?). The only drawback is my SAT; my CR is about 50th percentile and my math is, like, bottom 25th. Hopefully everything will make up for that, though.

i love sosa

i’m about 60th percentile for al three actually. but then again i’m a chinese girl so i dont know

which school in cornell are you applying to?

I think I’m going to be deferred to regular decision :/

Anyone have any idea when we’re supposed to receive our PIN numbers and passwords to the Online Decision Notification thing? ONLY THREE MORE DAYS!!

Read earlier on College Confidential (can’t recall if it was this thread or another) that someone got an email saying part of their Fin Aid app had to be submitted by December 14, and people thought that meant he got in b/c why else would they ask for it once decisions are made?

Well I just logged in to Cornell’s applicant center and under my Fin Aid section it says my parents W-2 forms are missing. They are self employed (stated on Common App and tax returns) so obviously they don’t have W-2s…but Cornell never emailed me. Is this a bad sign?

Arlington- financial aid and admissions are two separate processes, it doesn’t mean anything :)

Newberry - I sure hope so! Fingers are crossed. Thanks for your quick response, too!

Does anyone know what percent got accepted/deferred/rejected last year? I believe ED acceptance was something like 37% last year if memory serves me correct, but of the remaining 63%, what percent was deferred? Very many?

I’m applying to Hotel so if anyone has those specific figures, they’d be even more helpful.

Sure! Feel free to join the Facebook group as well (anyone feel free): [Log In | Facebook](Unofficial Cornell 2017 Prospectives | Facebook)

I’m sorry, I hate to be obnoxious, but will somebody PLEASE answer my question about Applicant PINs. Thanks!

Probably tomorrow. No one has received them yet, so there is no need to worry…

@supstrawberries

Probably tomorrow, there’s no need to worry

Cornell said “a few days prior” and no one here (to my knowledge) has any insider information to narrow that down. Tomorrow evening would be my guess.

@AlphaOrionis

HAHA we practically posted the same exact thing!

Haha that’s pretty funny!

It still says my parents have not sent in their tax returns. Is that bad?

3.80 with 1380 to CAS… fingers crossed…
