okay people haha we really gotta stop trying to figure smth outta trivial things… Let’s wait and hope we all get in! At this moment, nothing is going to change the decision so it will be wise to comfort urself bit and also prepare for regular admissions just in case ;)

So what if 1 means something or not? You guys should just calm the hell down, we barely have two days left. You’ve lived 17-18 years why is two days a problem? Just calm down, breathe and shuush.

Omggggg two full days left

got mine at :48 omg that means i wont get in

IT DOESNT MEAN ANYTHING! You think they would really do that?? They either send them by name, DOB, or completely random.

Everyone that applied ED probably has a 1 after their last name, and then those who apply RD will have a 2 and there will be a thread with them freaking out over it in a few months. As someone said earlier, Joe Smith and John Smith will both be JSmith1. The pins are going to be so different it wont matter how similar the passwords are.

I’m so nervous, and even more by looking at the stats you guys are posting up here. A lottt of competition. Do you guys think being from a country where I’m probably the only ED applicant will help? Also from the stats I looked at, there are only 2 people from my country at Cornell and they’re in graduate schools. Is it possible I would have a chance for diversity purposes?

@sc3219 what country do you live in?

Numbers don’t mean anything; myself and other early decision applicants had this same discussion last year haha; my pin was a bit different in that regard from those who got in even though i also got accepted.

It’s randomly generated.

Guys, when you log in using your PIN that we just received, count how long the page takes to load. If it takes an even number amount of second, it means you’re accepted. An odd number means you’re deferred, and a prime number means you were denied.

i now got an email that i should send them an income report of my parents to the financial aid until dec. 14th… what does it mean??

Hyoj-- hmmm are u an international?? It’s weird that they are asking for that after the decision comes out… What are your stats?

i am international and on the website they say… international applicants should submit additional information such as parents income tax upon request only… i am nervous now

and my stats are not very different from those of them in this threads : )

they will need some categorisation? so is it logical if it follows the order: 1 means accept, 2 means defer and 3 means reject? my secretary mom thinks so. good luck everyone

chance me for AEM ED? and if i dont get in other business schools?

@firecy - accepted AND denied? Sounds like a deferral to me…

In my email from Cornell it said “More than 4,000 applicants will be eager to access their online decision.”
Holy crap. That’s a lot! Last year was a record year with 3,609 ED applicants…

Did anyone else pick up on this?

yeah, a lot of us heard about that a couple weeks ago…
