This is to my son. As I know you have been reading posts on this site, I thought I would write to let you know that I am proud of you whether you are admitted or not. You have made tremendous progress since grammar school and even if you are not admitted now, you are a very good student, have done incredible things and most of all are a good person. If you are not admitted and you truly want to go to Cornell, you can always reapply as a transfer student. If not, then you have many other options…some of which may turn out to be better considering what you want to do. In any event, Mom and I love you and things will work out no matter which way the decision goes at 5:00 pm.
