Official countdown to March 31st

yes, FF to 4/15 plz. It'd almost be like opening christmas presents, but some of them say "your girlfriend broke up with you", or "your car is totaled)

Me too!!
this is crazy

AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

one more months! every time I think about that I just get all this nervous energy inside me and become depressed. Sure it's exciting, but it's getting to be a little bit too much, especially when I imagine myself checking my status on all the websites on march 31....XP

And yes, I agree with all of you who are sick of people who are already asking "so where are you going for college?" There was this ignorant junior who actually said "wow, it's already feb. and you still don't know yet?? isn't that kind of late?" -_______-

The one good thing is that senior slump is kicking into full force. The problem with that is that it gives me too much time to think about college :(

Having been accepted ED, I cannot WAIT for that week - to celebrate with my friends/comfort them without having to worry for myself...

bartleby - "Dang, this is so surreal. It's like waiting to be told where you'll be spending the next four years of your life."

Except it is. XD

to 12:00am on the morning of march 31st, there are ....
25 hours 58 minutes and 20 seconds that remain

^um i think you forgot number of days

25 days 4 hours 52 minutes

I'm going to wait for all my decisions to come by mail... it'll be less nerve-wracking than checking them online on April 1st, and more fun ripping rejection letters to shreds.

i bet once your friends start checking their admissions online you will change your mind ;)

Yeah, why would you make the wait even longer then it has to be?

So should I check my top choice first or work my way up? =)

^same question!

anyone with experience wanna take a crack at it?

I'd work your way up, so that way if you get rejected from Choice 1 you can still be like "but hey, at least I got into Choice 2/3/4/5." Unless you DIDN'T get into Choice 2/3/4/5, in which case... I'm sad for you.

^^^^

but wouldn't a rejection from the top choice make the next acceptances more exciting and valuable???

just a thought...

I will check:

1) HARVARD
2) PENN
3) DUKE
4) PRINCETON

its an ascending order from what I think: Harvard -rejection; Penn -waitlist; Duke - acceptance; Princeton - ???? (dream school).

I was thinking of working my way up the ladder, but I don't think I could resist checking my top choice first

I'll probably work my way up, but I don't know what I'll do in that pressure situation. I may be tempted to check my first choice.

i hadnt even thought about the order that i would check them. i guess it would depend on the order in which i receive them. i hear back from berkely and UCLA a couple days earlier than the ivies, but im not even considering those anymore since i got into georgetown. i guess i would check dartmouth first, then yale, harvard, and princeton (top choice). pomona isnt until april 5th supposedly so that would have to wait, but if all goes as planned, i could care less about that letter
