whats was the math experimental? just curious.

No it shouldn’t be a transition from instruments to players…it should be changing from a broader perspective to a more narrow view or something like that. This is because the sentences all lead to the glorification of Strad violins, not players. The following arguments afterwards supporting the amazing quality of violins are about players and their relationships and the value, but overall that specific paragraph mentioned is just a narrowing from instruments in general to Strad.

Guys, what was the answer to the “heady” question? I was so confused ugh I guessed shrewed.

I am pretty sure the last question for the violin one was something like “what was the perspective of the author”… what did you guys put? there was knowledgeable fan, aspiring scholar, etc.

The answer was intoxicating.

The answer is knowledgeable fan. He starts off the piece with a narrative style, something that a scholar wouldn’t do. He also praises Strad highly throughout, and there are bits and pieces of facts that he put together, but he never went into extreme detail about anything. Value: he cited one example, players: he knows most of them that praise Strad. Very knowledgeable but doesn’t write like a professional throughout the piece.

Was heady #24 for the violin passage?

are we really allowed to discuss the questions after the test? i mean im guessing kids are still taking them in different countries. unless the international one is different then the US one.

U.S. is usually the last time zone relative to the rest of the world. Just saying.

i mean hawaii might still be taking it if they started late.

LOL @daday123 are you new to CC the “day of” sat forums? haha

did anyone have writing as their experimental?

Where did you find ACUMEN, SCHISM, PITHINESS, and SYMBIOSIS in DH? I may be wrong but I think they’re Direct Misses!! I was pretty disappointed with DH today

sorry i laughed at that! lol

LOL my bad. Well for schism, you might not necessarily know what it means but you could cancel the only other 2 options (hiatus and disparity) through DH and Symbiosis is a 9th grade biology term that should be known. AP Bio also helped with pithiness. Acumen was a total guess. But amalgamate, indelible, moribund and many more were all on there. You cant just expect DH writers to have a clandestine deal with the Collegeboard test writers I think having these many hits were more than expected lul

I thought the answer was symbiosis

@acbyrne I KNOW!! I was thinking the same thing lol. I used Direct Hits to learn my vocab, and a couple of those words were just terrible for me! What was the answer to the question with schism? Also, does anyone remember the other choices for that question?

I put restrained for the relationship between indian woman and shyamoli

i put restrained too

@GottaGetThat24 Was pithiness a correct answer for one of the questions? Because I’m fairly certain I didn’t mark that as an answer.
