OFFICIAL CR June 1st (Indian woman, Jane Austin, Rovers, etc)

Symbiosis??? No??!

did anyone get an answer like digressing from the topic in the critical reading???

Nope. I got another answer.

was it transition from broad to narrow

What was the question?

Symbiosis… I was so sure on that one!!! *****

Nobody got that -_-

Was symbiosis right or wrong?

Pretty sure it was right

That’s good!

does anyone remember what the last question was for the indian passage?

why isnt that one hiatus…? doesnt hiatus mean stop or something like that?

can someone please tell me the title of the book to the ghost orchid passage? was it the orchid thief? or can someone link me directly to a text of the passage? the ending of that passage was seriously profound and i really want to read it again.

My favorite passage was the one about the flowers…omg so easy.

the sentence completion was easier than I expected. I usually suck at sentence completions.

The one that talks about Jane Austin…-_______-…don’t even mention it. It was confusing…

found it! never mind

^ post the link!!!

So it seems that the passage in the SAT is an adapted version for those who have never read the book

I could only find that last paragraph unfortunately ahah. but it’s the paragraph that really touched me

hiatus refers to a break in time; schism refers to a complete division between two parties. In this question, they were talking about how the scientists differed greatly in opinion that they almost pronounced a __________. It couldn’t be a break in a time.

there was this question about the violin passage that i couldn’t figure out? i literally spent all my extra time on it. it was the one asking something along the lines of “why does the author consider the soviet violinst to be the exception to the rule?”

@abigailadams it was because she left somewhere without her violin

Was one of the cr answers a grudging appreciation or an open admiration? Might have been experimental
