Just curious, why did you guys decide on applying to Dartmouth?
Location, atmosphere, D-plan, committment to undergrad education, etc
I applied for the Native American Studies program
After having been rejected from Georgetown, BC, and Vandy, I’m not too hopeful about Dartmouth lol. But, my interview went as well as it could have gone so maybe that will count for something!
@georgialine My friend also got rejected from Vandy but on 27th he was accepted at Stanford. So keep hoping.
Waitlisted by Georgetown and Johns Hopkins, two of my top choices. There goes the rest of the ivies basically. Not emotionally prepared for the hell that will ensue for the next few days
I have wanted to go to Dartmouth since middle school and have even visited twice. So far I have been accepted to UVA, W&M, and BC and waitlisted at WashU (recruited for tennis) and Georgetown. Hoping for good news tomorrow!
Best of luck to you guys tomorrow! I’m really in love with the culture at Dartmouth and am crazy about the outdoorsy aspect to it!!! Extremely nervous for tomorrow but hoping for the best. I’m crossing my fingers that my acceptances from Duke, Notre Dame, and Georgetown the past few days will mean something for tomorrow… Highly unlikely but possible
I applied here knowing that I would not get in, but man am I hoping that I will.
I swear if I get one more waitlist letter tomorrow I will jump off the nearest bridge. It’s accept or reject, go big or go home
Honestly, I applied to Dartmouth out of impulse and a rush. I just know that a kid from my school got in two years ago with stats worse than mine, so I applied. Nevertheless, it’s in my top-list. With acceptances from Northwestern, Notre Dame, Amherst, a rejection wouldn’t hurt so much! But good luck to everybody !
@pianogeek I feel you. I have received a lot of waitlist letters for past two weeks.
@pianogeek I so understand you, especially after looking at Dartmouth’s Common Data Set and seeing that they literally did not accept one person off the waitlist 0% acceptance from it, I’ll basically see it as insanely pointless
How are u guys planning to get through this last night of tormenting anxiety? I am planning to practice one extra hour on my wooden dummy and then finish all Quintin Tarantino movies at once.
I’m going to try binging on donuts, and hopefully pass out from a food coma
Haha this thread is so chill, meanwhile at Harvard, they’re having a countdown party and no one’s getting any sleep
Can anyone show me a website where I can see the proper time , I’m getting all lost with the daylight saving time and stuff like that, considering I’m not from USA.
@codder http://www.timeanddate.com/time/zones/edt that’s the time zone. Decisions are out 5pm EDT
@render142 Thank you ! I Wish you luck!
If accepted, will the financial aid decision be in the portal?
