Official Dec 2012 MATH thread

So, the last two answers (#59 & #60) were both A?

Sorry for necromancing the thread, but what did you all put for the question that asked something like this: There is a circle with a radius of 3. THe set of all points 2 units away from the center would be:

I put inside the circle. That would be the answer, right?

yeah because all points less than 3 away would be inside it

What do you guys think a -10 will be on this test? idk, but this test was harder than usual.

How many do you think you can miss and get 34 above?

@jacks probably 2 maybe 3 for this one

maybe 2 or 3

Does anyone know their scores and curves for each test?

No I don’t think it is available as of now

@jackz

Check out the thread called December 2012 act predicted/actual scores

Some people got theirs early using a trick
I tried to get mine but they were t uploaded yet

Does anyone remember the LCM question with the fractions? I got 240 and have NO IDEA how I forgot how to do LCM.

One of the fractions had a denominator of 15, which equals 5 x 3.
Another had a fraction of 24 (If I recall correctly), which equals 2^3 x 3
Another had a fraction of 16, which equals 2^4

So you in essence need 2^4 x 3 x 5 = 240

what is the possibilities of drawing the marble and spin different color? i got 3/4 but not sure

3/4 is correct.
