i found it to be relatively easy, some were less clear though hoping i only missed 1 or 2

@Iris : 1) it was the one with the fingerboard. (I don’t remember the exact words.) 2) there was a shift on the second page 3) idk because I rushed that one lol

On the violin question —

Q: What was the reason Mr. Kaplan ask if she would practice it 1000 times?

was it to gauge her interest?

Catsrecool, do you mean she put the finger on the board thing? If so, <3.

breaking out of the mold, was writing in a different language

@andrew8765 Thats what I put.

i think it was to because she needed work

Did the “gauge the interst” choice begin with the word, “jokingly?”

Also, what did you guys put for the Chinese-American one?

I think I put not similar but I forgot the reason I put…

@Iris: Yup. :)

no jokingly was for another choice, and chinese-american he felt like he was part of both cultures

What’s the breaking out of the mold question? i dont remember that one at all even though i specifically remember the chinese-american author passage

Hat was a characteristic that all mangroves have?

Gauge her interest was different from the jokingly one. I put gauge her interest because she did poorly and he knew she needed to improve since her tape got chosen.

Nvm efeens! I found the article online! It was that the all have an ultrafiltration system to keep salt out… I guessed correctly!

yeah i felt the act reading is easy in that it really is entirely comprehension (so if you read the passage youll get all the questions right) but at the same time it’s hard because the comprehension tests over the smallest details.

and yes, the salt filtration system is what all mangroves have

Breaking out of the mold…

I remember it said that the authors listed above wrote in any language but the original.

Didn’t the question ask what they all shared? The authors listed WROTE in their native language, the chinese-american guy didnt. the answer was they all spent a lot of time away from their homeland.

I put the “a lot of time away from their homeland.”

For the other one, I’m guessing “Different languages” is the answer?
(Darn, I put native language)

Which number was the question that asked what the (that plant thing) shared?

The authors listed did NOT write in their native languages

Wait. So breaking out of the mold question’s answer was Native languages? <3?
