So far I missed 3 and omitted one for CR. Does taking the SAT four times look bad? I'm just trying to raise my CR score to 720+

Whoa, wait. missing 3 and omitting one is a 720? No right?

Yeaaaa that's a REALLY harsh scale...

missing 3 omitting one seems more like 750+ to me?

And i didn't have a question about toothpicks lol...

Yeah. What toothpicks? Def. a different version..

Some questions:

What was the answer for the one about the impressionist painter with de facto in the sentence? I put recluse, but I think its renegade now.

Was that in the same passage as the salmon one?

How about the one with Morgan and the daughter marrying. The first question after the passage, the question was what do the words suggest? I put he didn't know what was going on, but it could have been he didn't pay attention to detais in his family.

And also, how about the question (fill in the blank) with the stars and light? Is it palpitations or fluctuations? I put fluctuations, but I don't know.

I didn't have any of those.

Different tests I guess.

Any help?

I put sullen for the politics one, not sure though.

Were intransigent and diminutive sentence completions?

What was the question which asked the passage says all of the following about fish except?

i got diminuitive, but for the intransigent one i got something different

I don't remember putting intransigent down, but I remember diminutive.

Re: Fluctuations. I believe this is correct. Palpitation, I believe, would refer to a regular, distinct beat, rather thana fading in and out.

Re: African Conservationism and the statement that Conservation has advanced in the past 5 years: Earlier in this thread someone suggested it was an unsupported assertion which I suppose is fitting, but to me it distinctly stood out to me as a minor concession i.e. digression that was being de-emphasized. Is that entirely off-base?

Btw, is it necessarily the Alaskan fisherman section beign discounted (unfortunately, I most likely did better there than on this, though I believe it's only one wrong, one omit so far).

wasn't diminutive for a sentence about birds or something?

yea i dont think i put intransient down either... maybe if u can remember the context of the question i could remember.

all i remember is it was something like normallly___, Gary(i don't remember the name) uncharacteristically gambled ...

Prudent, perhaps?

yes, prudent

Fish one was "Fish are less susceptible to be overcaught than lobsters"
All of the others are clearly stated in the passage.

I had the lobster/literacy/hari one....what do you guys think is the lowest and highest score for 2 wrong and 2 blank? 3 wrong and 2 blank?

770-740 on recent tests

my test had a reading section which had 23 questions and a 20 minute section with 20 questions, did anyone else?
