~~Official December SAT CR~~

I liked the story about Hari and Jagu, it was quite fun to read. I also like the Solar planets one but the one about the legislator who was a farmboy as a child nearly killed me!!!!

There was one question.. about why the word liberals was in quotation marks, or something, and one of the answer choices was "to show that republicans are sometimes more contentious than liberals." I put that as the answer, but what did other people get for that one?

The answer was to show that the debate was an exchange of platitudes.

Dang it! I originally put that, but second guessed myself and changed it. Oh well... thanks.

What do you think the curve for the CR will be?

I liked the passages. They were entertaining, which is usually not the case.

^they weren't that bad...except the short one with how music is terrorizing everyone.......i first put overstatement then i erased it and i don't know y i put packing?...i guess it seemed like music was invading their space..so packing mad the most sense to me...guess i got that one wrong too....but i have to say...the lobster/haur/politican/literacy SC were pretty hard...truclence? unctousnes? damn...

what was the main purpose of both planet-searching passages?

wait so which things were on the first experimental reading (sec2)?

A lot of SC like 10 or so. And a passage about woman's diary or something... Journalism

what section was the passage magicnmyth was talking about with the reference question concerning the word "liberal"

I didn't have that??

Never mind my exp was writing :///

The test I had was the lobster/decline in reading/watchmaker/politics test with two math grid-ins. That question was from the section about politics. The narrator talked about his past, a debate over the car seat law, and how a story about someone's kid affected him and made him think of his own kid. That particular question referred to conservatives arguing over liberals "telling them what they could do with their car," if I remember correctly?
